PACKING APPROPRIATELY

Cowabunga! This is a wild coastal environment, so pack as though you are embarking on a long journey through vast galaxies and dimensions. Be prepared for rain, wind, and rapidly changing conditions, and plan to spend the entire experience outdoors (other than inside your own tent).

Check the weather here: https://www.windy.com/59.955/-149.563?59.637,-149.563,8

Essentials:

  • Rain gear & warm layers – dress for all weather.
  • Provisions – bring enough food, water, and snacks for the weekend.
  • Costumes & themed attire – creativity is encouraged!
  • Dry bags – protect clothing, bedding, electronics, and anything you want to keep dry.
  • PFD (life jacket) – required for anyone using watercraft.
  • Packrafts, paddleboards, and surfboards– highly encouraged and may be necessary during lower tides for access to and from the boats.
  • Camping gear – tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, headlamp, and camp essentials.
  • Water - There is no suitable drinking water on site. Bring 1 gallon of water per person per day.
  • Leave No Trace Mindset – pack out everything you bring in.
